- Facility: Modern hospital with a 34-bed Med/Surg unit
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract (Start: 9/15/2025 End: 12/15/2025)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 07:15)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Patient Ratio: 1:6 / 1:7 at capacity
- EMR System: Cerner
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Tennessee or compact state)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
- Must reside at least 50 miles from Jefferson City, TN
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, recovery, and discharge planning
- Float to other units as required to support hospital staffing needs
