- Monday - Friday schedule with traditional shifts.
- Predictable Schedule: The Monday through Friday schedule provides a consistent routine, allowing the APP to plan personal and professional activities more easily.

- Examine, diagnose and treat patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic test results to treat a variety of gastrointestinal disease.
- Assist physician in proper diagnosis and management/treatment of patient.
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate patient information.
- Prescribe and administer medications and appropriate therapies.
- Advise patients of methods of disease prevention, prescribed medication, and health maintenance.
- Obtain health and medical histories from patients to gain a clear understanding of disorder/disease being treated and appropriate course of action.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the digestive system, diseases that affect it, and stay current with new developments in the field in order to apply the best possible practices.
- Travel to outreach locations services by Gastroenterology Associates.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and work quickly, with constantly changing circumstances and priorities
- Ability to convey or exchange complex information
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master’s degree preferred
- National Board Certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with GI or pain treatment preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems and databases, such as EPIC, required
- Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Continually moves around a medical center/healthcare environment 90% of the time.
- Consistently grasps, moves or assembles small objects.
- Make quick, precise adjustments and manipulate machines and controls.
- Consistently uses computers and relays information verbally and through email, messages and phone.
- Frequently communicates with others and exchanges information on an on-going basis.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
