Manufacturing is still highly manual—we’re using AI to automate workflows between vendors, customers, and manufacturers.We’ve built a beta product and are now looking for a senior engineer to join our small team (5 engineers + CTO) to help architect, scale, and deliver a brand-new SaaS platform. This role is ideal for someone who has previously been a founding engineer or has led the architecture of a product from the ground up, and is now ready to take that experience into a technical leadership role.Job DescriptionArchitect and build core SaaS features for a web-based platform (B2B/customer-facing).Make key technical decisions on frameworks, CI/CD, infrastructure, and tooling.Lead code reviews and establish engineering best practices.Partner closely with product and design to shape new features.Contribute across the stack: backend (Python, Postgres, APIs) and frontend (TypeScript, React/Vue).Balance hands-on coding with guiding architectural direction.Qualifications8–10+ years of software engineering experience.Experience as a founding engineer or as the primary architect for a SaaS product, seeing it through 2+ years of development.Strong backend (Python, databases, APIs, security) and frontend (React/Vue, TypeScript, SPAs) experience.Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, IaC).Track record of proposing and implementing frameworks and tools from scratch.Comfortable in a startup environment—proactive, resourceful, and able to wear multiple hats.Nice to HaveExperience with applied AI/ML in SaaS platforms.Background in B2B SaaS or automation for complex workflows.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
