  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational risk, enterprise risk management, or a related field within financial services is required.
  • Risk Metrics & Reporting: Required is deep expertise in designing and implementing operational risk dashboards, metrics (KRIs), and reporting tools. Proven, advanced skill in Power BI is a requirement.
  • Operational Risk Management: Required is a strong, comprehensive understanding of operational risk frameworks, including RCSA, incident management, scenario analysis, and stress testing within the financial services industry.
  • Stakeholder Management & Influence: Required are excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to present complex risk insights and influence strategic decisions with senior leadership and governance committees.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Required is a highly analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to lead complex initiatives like scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate potential impacts on the business.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Desired is experience leading and mentoring junior team members, developing resource plans, and promoting a strong risk culture across a global organization.
EducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field is required.
An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, CPA) is preferred.Responsibilities
Lead the development and enhancement of operational risk measurement, monitoring, and reporting to drive risk-informed decision-making across the firm.
  • Risk Reporting & Analytics: Design, implement, and lead the continuous improvement of operational risk dashboards and reporting using Power BI and Excel. Monitor and analyze key risk indicators (KRIs), issues, incidents, and control effectiveness, presenting insights and trends to senior leadership and governance committees.
  • Risk Framework & Assessment: Develop and maintain robust operational risk metrics aligned with the firm's risk appetite. Lead scenario analysis and stress testing initiatives to evaBusiness Partnership & Advisory: Partner with business units and technology teams to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks. Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, supporting internal audit and regulatory reviews related to operational risk.luate potential risk impacts and enhance the firm's resilience.
  • Leadership & Strategy: Mentor and guide junior team members to foster their professional growth. Develop a strategic resource plan for onshore and offshore resources to support the operational risk function and promote a strong risk culture across the organization.
About The Team
The Vice President will be a senior leader within the Corporate Risk and Resilience team, a central function within the broader Risk Management department. This team is responsible for establishing and overseeing the firm's operational risk management framework. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, technology partners, and other risk functions to embed a strong risk culture and provide critical insights to senior management, helping to safeguard the organization.For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $163,300.00 - $236,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
