The Pre-Admit Registered Nurse is responsible for the practice of professional nursing, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients of all age groups (pediatric through geriatric). The RN is trained to competently manage the surgical patient through the pre-admission process. The RN will provide advocacy and care for the patient, during the pre-admission process, successfully assisting the patient to prepare for surgery and ensuring that all pre-operative processes have been followed and met. The RN collaborates with surgical personnel, clinic personnel, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and ancillary service providers. The RN should have a working knowledge of PACU nursing and participate in the call rotation, if required. Successful candidates will have a passion for customer service excellence, teamwork and enjoy working in a fast-paced, professional environment.Minimum Qualifications: BSN in nursing, MSN preferred, and licensed in the state of Montana. Current BLS Healthcare provider required.
