
Logistics Manager

- Work with a team of seven other logisticians to perform logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support the specified mission and system components of the NCMC/ITW-AA division and the Missile Warning / Missile Track (MW/MT) enhancement effort.
- Utilize the tenets of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook and apply understanding of the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements for program requirements in focus areas such as Technical Orders, Obsolescence Management, Sparing Analysis, Property Accountability (Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)), Software Licensing, Hardware Warranties, facilities, and services to integrate logistics requirements into NCMC-ITW/AA and MW/MT logistics planning and execution.
- Provide expert logistics input on Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOW), and Performance Work Statements (PWS).
- Apply user knowledge of and experience with USAF Technical Orders (TO) and utilize to review, identify procedural and data discrepancies, and provide corrections prior to publication.
- Work independently and/or as part of a collaborative project team to perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating logistical actions required to support the NCMC-ITW/AA program and the MWMT enhancement effort.
- Apply Waterfall and/or Agile development logistics methodologies to both hardware & software acquisition/sustainment projects in a System Program Office (SPO) setting.
- Apply knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning, in accordance with the DoD 5000 series instructions, during each phase of acquisition.
- Correlate logistics requirements with program plans to assure that required support is forecast and provided at the right time and place.
- Assist the program’s effort to execute a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA).
- Familiarity with and utilization of a Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and its processes.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally, with civilian and military personnel and stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze manufacturer and Space Force metrics (supply, reliability, maintainability, reliability, etc.) to be briefed at program reviews and other stakeholder meetings as required.
- Communicate and collaborate over MS Teams, Confluence, JIRA, phone and other designated collaboration methods in order to maximize contribution especially during telework periods.
- Utilize Microsoft Office products as the primary software tools.
- AAS/BA/BS, 10 years of functional experience in logistics/acquisition logistics, 3 of which must be in the Defense Industry
- Hands-on experience supporting the acquisition lifecycle to include planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support the mission and systems sustainment.
- Experience providing logistics input towards any of the following - Request for Proposal (RFP), Statement of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
- Interpersonal Skills: Problem solver/solution seeker; critical thinker willing to identify alternative solutions to complex problems.
- Previous experience supporting Logistics activities for NCMC/ITW-AA System of Systems
- Contractor Logistics experience supporting systems under sustainment.
- Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills and be capable of developing and presenting reports and presentations to the project teams, weapon system management and customer personnel in a clear, articulate, and concise manner.
- Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Sources (DMSMS).
