Employment type: Full-time, non-exemptPurpose:The divisions of Enrollment Services and Student Support and Community Partnerships at Piedmont Virginia Community College are seeking an innovative and collaborative individual for this administrative position. This individual performs administrative and office support activities for the Deans of Enrollment Services and Student Support & Community Partnerships as well as support for the Student Affairs information hub.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support for the deans of Enrollment Services and Student Support & Community Partnerships
- Coordinates and provides office staffing/student information hub coverage, including working consistently Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
- Provides warm and efficient service in-person, by Teams phone and by email to answer or direct inquiries about programs within the two divisions.
- Assists with determining the domicile of students for tuition support purposes.
- Serves as the liaison to support the divisions' technology needs, to include working with the office of Student Success Technology and Analytics, college IT for the student information system (SIS), Marketing and Media Relations for the webpage and Building and Grounds for building maintenance issues and Student Support & Community Partnerships for the Network2Work platform.
- Serves as the key operator for divisions' copier.
- Submits any building related maintenance requests to building and grounds department as necessary.
- Ensures divisions' webpages are accurate and up to date. Posts division announcements on the PVCC systems to be broadcast throughout the college.
- Orders supplies and equipment for division office needed via the Ariba electronic ordering system (eVa).
- Complies with the rules and regulations of the State Procurement Manual and the college purchasing office.

KSA's/Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in a related field or a blend of education and practical experience
- Excellent/accurate keyboard skills
- Word processing, spreadsheet, and other software document preparation computer skills
- Copying/duplicating skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to navigate the various technology platforms used by the divisions
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to take direction from multiple individuals
- Ability to prioritize work assignments
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well with others in a training capacity
- Further education in a relevant discipline
- Community college experience or experience in the Virginia Community College System (VCCS)
- Experience with Chrome River, eVA and PeopleSoft
