- Teaching a part-time undergraduate Kinesiology course load for the Fall and Spring semesters (15 credit, 9-month contract).
- Maintaining high standards in classroom instruction through engaging and effective teaching practices. Staying current with developments in the Kinesiology field, including relevant topics, curriculum updates, and evidence based practices. Integrate faith into teaching.
- Developing and sustaining strong professional relationships with healthcare and exercise science professionals to create active learning opportunities.
- Connecting students with industry-related service, work, or volunteer opportunities that foster their passion for service and help develop soft skills for making a meaningful impact in the world.
- Contributing to the department and university through advising, curriculum and program development, and participation on university committees as needed.
- Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
- By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
- Demonstrating awareness, respect, and appreciation for diversity of culture, background, race, sex, political views, expressions of faith, etc. and works well with a variety of people.

- A Doctoral degree in Kinesiology field or Master of Science in Kinesiology related field considered.
- A strong passion for evidence-based practice and a commitment to applying this knowledge in real-world Kinesiology settings, ensuring that research directly informs and improves industry practices.
- Three years of teaching experience in a higher education institution is preferred.
- Excellent professional, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- A commitment to maintaining consistently high professional standards.
- The ability to work effectively within and embrace working with a growing, innovative team.
- A commitment to working with a diverse population of students is essential; demonstrated experience in this area is preferred.
- A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a church. In addition, employees agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.
- Appointment at the Assistant Professor level is anticipated, though candidates with significant teaching experience at previous institutions may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor. Salary and benefits are competitive with comparable institutions.

- This is a resident / in-person faculty position.
- Working Conditions: Physical requirements are similar to those of teaching and clinical environments.
