Patients are waiting.The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for system level integration of capital equipment products that consist of software, electrical, and electro-mechanical subsystems, as well as performing system analytics. You will participate on multi-functional teams to design, develop, and test groundbreaking medical devices!   • Lead cross-functional teams to tie all aspects of the system together and meet program goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical/marketing, program management, and the engineering design teams.
  • Perform system analytics using SQL, generate metrics, and interrogate data using statistical methods and visual dashboarding
  • Perform testing, analyze results, and make data-based recommendations to the team.
  • Work cross-disciplinarily to provide hands-on system troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Utilize sound engineering methods and documentation processes to perform design reviews and failure mode analyses.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA Degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical or any related engineering field is required.
  • 2 years working experience in an industry is required.
  • Regulated industry (e.g. aerospace) is desireable.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design, mechatronics, systems and sensors, and/or electronics and software is required.
  • Intermediate statistical analysis experience is required.
  • Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations preferred (i.e. FDA CFR Part 820 and/or ISO13485).
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a multifunctional team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, experience with Databricks or other data lakehouse systems is also a plus.
  • Experience with Linux and working within a Linux environment is a plus.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is an asset.
