We provide advanced critical care services for individuals recovering from severe illness or injury – including ventilator weaning and respiratory therapy, complex wound care, post-intensive care rehabilitation, and management of multiple organ system conditions. Our highly skilled team of physicians, critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, and rehabilitation specialists deliver around-the-clock care with a focus on stabilizing health and promoting recovery. The hospital features advanced monitoring equipment and all private rooms to enhance patient comfort and safety.North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital is expanding its services and will be opening an in-patient rehabilitation (IRU) unit to pair with its long-term acute care beds. The IRU will provide acute rehabilitation services to patients with neurologic, orthopedic, cardiac and respiratory disease.What you bring:

  • Graduate Degree from an accredited program in Speech Therapy.
  • Current State SLP-CCC License.
  • Current CPR Qualifications:
Required Skills:· Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.· Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.· Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year status or equivalent preferred.· Two years’ experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.Additional Qualifications/Skills:· Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.· Demonstrates appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures and guidelines in caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients· Demonstrates competency in the provision of care according to established standards· Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.· Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.· Leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.· Effective organizational and time management skills.· Effective written and verbal communication skills.· Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.· Ability to work closely and professionally with others.· Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.Are you interested in relocating?
