Compensation: To $75KJob Overview - HR Generalist (Operations) - 33830We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in supporting blue-collar workforces. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and has proven experience managing a small HR team (1-3 recruiters/HR specialists). The ideal candidate is a true HR Generalist who can balance day-to-day tactical support with strategic HR initiatives that impact employee engagement and organizational success.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a small team of talent acquisition and HR specialists (1-3 direct reports).Partner with operations leadership to support a blue-collar workforce in areas such as employee relations, staffing, compliance, and workforce planning.Oversee talent acquisition for hourly and salaried roles, ensuring timely and effective hiring.Manage employee relations issues by conducting investigations, coaching managers, and ensuring fair and consistent resolution.Administer and provide guidance on benefits programs, including open enrollment and employee inquiries.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.Partner with leadership to maintain and promote a safety-first culture, supporting OSHA compliance and safety initiatives.Support performance management processes including reviews, disciplinary actions, and corrective measures.Develop and implement HR best practices that support employee engagement, retention, and career development.Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers while balancing business needs with employee advocacy.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, with exposure to blue-collar/industrial/warehouse/distribution environments.At least 2 years of experience managing or mentoring a small HR/recruiting team.Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.Experience with talent acquisition, employee relations, safety programs, and benefits administration.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to connect with employees at all levels of the organization.Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Additional Job DetailsWorkplace Policy: #li-HybridSeniority Level: Mid-Senior LevelLinked In Poster: #LI-SP1About our Process
