This position provides opportunity for a diverse career path and longevity with an industry leading Telecommunications company.Apply today to join the Ledcor Technical Services team!We support our employees with training to develop skills, knowledge, and abilities.We offer an industry-leading benefits package, ongoing employee training and development, team building and career growth opportunities.Essential Responsibilities:Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipmentProvide light maintenance and routine service to equipmentOperates equipment, hand tools and lifts heavy items (up to 50 pounds)Reads underground utility locates and ensures safe digging practices are always being adhered toMaintains a healthy and safe work environment for the crew, the public, the customer, and LedcorWorks as a part of an overhead telecom line crew and assists with restoring job sites back to their original stateQualifications:Hydrovac truck experience is preferredExperience operating a skid steer, mini excavator, and / or back hoe is an assetActive CDL A with air brakes endorsement is preferred2+ years of experience in Heavy Equipment operationMust successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screeningsExperience with safely operating a variety of large and small power equipment, light vehicles and properly tow/back-up trailersWork Conditions:Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)Additional Information:Company DescriptionLedcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
