Job DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?The Senior Audit Manager for the RBC Corporate Treasury Audit Team will provide independent and objective evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of Corporate Treasury Areas, including Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB). Specifically, the Senior Audit Manager will support the audit team in the execution of audits related to IRRBB processes such as key assumptions (deposit decay, loan prepayments, etc.), sensitivity analysis of key assumptions, Net Interest Income (NII) and Economic Value of Equity (EVE) stress testing, risk identification, input and output controls, backtesting, and other processes related to IRRBB.What will you do?Provide independent and objective evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of IRRBB practices for RBC’s Combined U.S. Operations (CUSO).Support the Audit Director and Managing Director audits across the U.S. portfolio, including through the audit planning, reporting and issue remediation phases.Assist in non-audit related projects including regulatory issue validation, audit risk assessments, and other strategic initiativesWhat do you need to succeed?Approximately 6-8 years of experience covering IRRBB processes such as key assumptions (deposit decay, loan prepayments, etc.), sensitivity analysis of key assumptions, Net Interest Income (NII) and Economic Value of Equity (EVE) stress testing, risk identification, input and output controls, backtesting, and other processes related to IRRBB.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
