Snow College seeks a dedicated and hands-on Custodial Supervisor to oversee custodial operations at the Sevier Valley Center (SVC), a mid-size event facility hosting concerts, sports, conferences, and community gatherings. This position ensures the facility remains clean, safe, and event-ready at all times.
The Custodial Supervisor will supervise and train part-time custodial staff, manage cleaning schedules, perform custodial work alongside the team, and coordinate cleaning needs for events. This role requires flexibility, including working most events, at least two night shifts per month, and cross-training to assist with operations and guest services when needed.Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year custodial experience in a commercial, educational, or event facility.
  • Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of two night shifts per month.
Custodial Leadership and Oversight
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate part-time custodial staff.
  • Lead the hiring process for part-time custodial employees.
  • Develop and maintain cleaning schedules for daily operations and events.
  • Perform routine and deep cleaning, including floors, restrooms, seating areas, offices, and public spaces.
Event and Facility Support
  • Coordinate custodial staffing and cleaning before, during, and after events.
  • Work most events, ensuring quick response to cleaning or operational needs.
  • Assist with event setup, teardown, and operational support as needed.
Cross-Departmental Duties
  • Cross-train in event operations, ushering, and guest services to provide coverage and flexibility.
  • Assist in non-custodial event roles when required.
Facility Care and Safety
  • Enforce cleaning and safety standards, ensuring proper use of equipment and chemicals.
  • Monitor building conditions, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain custodial supply inventory and order replenishments as needed.
