They should be able to read, understand, and execute scopes of work independently, showcasing a strong sense of mechanical aptitude. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary. Additionally, a valid Driver's License is essential, alongside a proven ability to work independently. While not mandatory, candidates with over a year of environmental field experience will be preferred. An Associate's degree or a Trade School Certificate/Diploma is also advantageous. Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems will set candidates apart, as will the completion of ARC Flash NFPA 70 Training and Confined Space Entry training. Those with DOT HazMat Shipping training and 30 Hour Construction Safety training will be preferred.
