- Provide expert-level DMSMS support to the NGAS Program Office, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain DMSMS management plans, reports, and tracking tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure proactive resolution of obsolescence issues.
- Interface with OEMs, suppliers, and government stakeholders to identify alternate sources and replacement strategies.
- Support lifecycle sustainment planning and contribute to acquisition and modernization efforts.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for supply chain disruptions.
- Utilize tools such as AVCOM, PCN, and other DMSMS databases to monitor and report on part status.
- Prepare briefings and documentation for senior leadership and program reviews.
- Location: Wright Patterson, AFB, Ohio
- Travel Requirements: less than 15%
- Working Hours: Core hours 9am-1500
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 15 years of direct experience in DMSMS analysis and management, preferably within DoD or aerospace programs.
- Strong understanding of Air Force acquisition and sustainment processes.
- Familiarity with NGAS or similar advanced aviation platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and DMSMS-specific tools.
- Experience supporting Air Force Program Offices or similar DoD entities.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-3018 and other relevant DMSMS guidance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
