Our Training team is one of the fastest growing areas within UWM, which houses some of our most talented team members. Our Instructional Designer will partner with teams throughout the supported areas to provide necessary trainings or materials to team members. We need a team member who can dig deep with business leaders to determine training needs then create a plan to accomplish those training needs. The Instructional Designer will be expected to create and maintain training material and process documentation, through the use of our internal programs. The designer we’re looking for should communicate at a high level and possess writing and computer skills.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGPartnering with Training team members and business leaders to develop training that meets the needs of the company, teams, and learnersDesigning and developing Initial, Ongoing, and Continuous Improvement training for various roles throughout the organization by creating course designs, job aids, participant guides, visual aids, PowerPoints, and moreCreating assessment tools to measure learning, knowledge retention, and performanceSeeking training evaluation and feedback to continuously improve training programs and materialDeveloping learning management content including technology announcements, surveys, and moreProviding feedback to Training team members to support the improvement of content creation and facilitationAnalyzing metrics to identify training opportunitiesActing as a backup to trainers for facilitating Initial, Ongoing, and Continuous Improvement training for various roles, if neededWHAT WE NEED FROM YOUMust Have Qualifications:1-year of experience in the design/development of training materials6 Months of experience in computer-based training design/developmentAdvanced experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPointProficiency with Microsoft ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organizationAbility to explain complex information in clear, concise termsStrong collaboration with team members and business leadersMust be detail-orientedResults-oriented, with the ability to complete assignments on time and manage multiple priorities concurrentlyMaintain a positive attitude and exude confidenceActively seek coaching and feedbackExceptional work ethic, customer service, and interpersonal skillsApproach tasks and projects with a Yes MentalityLive and breathe our valuesNice To Have Qualifications:Experience in a mortgage-related rolePrevious training experienceExperience as an Instructional DesignerProven track record of implementing the ADDIE process and Kirkpatrick modelExperience with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise, or other eLearning softwareTHE PLACE & THE PERKSReady to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
