The Challenge: Everyone knows security needs to be "baked in" to a system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could us e your cyber engineering skills to design and build secure systems for national security and DoD clients? We're looking for an experienced cybersecurity engineer who can create solutions that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats. You'll design, configure, and implement advanced architecture security solutions in your client's critical mission environments. You'll coordinate work with network and systems engineers and Cybersecurity analysts to identify the right mix of tools and te chn iques to translate your c us tomer's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you'll investigate new te chn iques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the ind us try is going. You'll guide teams through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and c us tomizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. This is a chance to make a difference in the security of the DoD and National Security Systems. Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you help c us tomers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like endpoint-based detection, identity and access management, and advanced analytics. You'll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like automation/orchestration of security events and zero t r us t methodologies, all while building peace of mind in critical infrastructure. You Have: * 10+ years of experience with architecting and designing networks and security te chn ologies
  • Experience in writing and interpreting requirements for the implementation of network security and controls, end point security and firewall appliances and systems and developing us e cases for c us tomers
  • Experience with Splu nk or other automation, analytics, or infrastructure monitoring tools
  • Experience with performing hands-on duties supporting c us tomers during product demonstrations, training, and implementations
  • Knowledge of multi-domain architectures, including data center, WAN, LAN, DMZ
  • Ability to create, update, and maintain te chn ical documentation and diagrams
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • BA or BS degree Nice If You Have: * Experience with DoD networks, programs, and architectures
  • Experience with product evaluations and c ond ucting analysis of alternatives based on c us tomer requirements
  • Knowledge of zero t r us t best practices and methodologies
  • Knowledge of analytical, data mining, and problem-solving skills
