A growing, engineering-led manufacturer in Waukesha, WI is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer with job shop experience to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and support shop floor operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with operators, machinists, and leadership to drive improvements and solve real-time issues.If you enjoy figuring out how things work — and how to make them work better — this could be a great fit.What You’ll Do:Develop and document processes for new and existing jobsTroubleshoot and resolve production issues on the floorCollaborate with operators, quality, and engineeringUse SolidWorks and SigmaNest for layouts and tool designLead improvement projects around cycle times, scrap, and throughputSupport quoting through estimating and feasibility inputMaintain and improve documentation of tools, processes, and specsWork with purchasing and vendors to spec materials and toolingContribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving effortsWhat We’re Looking For:7+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, ideally in a job shopStrong hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, and machiningProficiency in SolidWorks and SigmaNestExcellent blueprint reading and GD&T knowledgeComfortable solving problems in real-timeGood communicator across functions and levelsBachelor’s in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent experienceWhy This Role:Stable, private company with strong leadership
