Central Plumbing and Electric Supply is looking for a qualified IT Technician that can install and maintain computer systems and networks. Must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate must have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.Duties/Responsibilities:· Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability.· Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software· Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated· Ability to diagnose firewall and network issues and equipment· Remote troubleshooting· Remain highly focused, able to rapidly determine key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities and ensure resources are properly aligned.· Work under high pressure situations while remaining composed.· Perform other related duties as assigned.
