As a Senior Solutions Architect at Fiserv, you will build better systems and products on distributed on-prem infrastructure and Microsoft Azure Cloud. In this role, you will work directly with some of our largest customers at all levels to enable innovation through continuous deployment across technology stacks and demonstrate best practices around advanced cloud solutions.What you will do:
  • Ensure success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on both distributed and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Provide architectural guidance and recommendations on running applications efficiently and reliably on both distributed and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Assist customers with the definition of technical strategies to consume Fiserv solutions.
  • Drive transition from legacy applications to microservices-based architecture.
  • Implement initiatives, preferably on Azure, using containerization (Kubernetes) and serverless technologies.
What you will need to have:
  • 10+ years of experience in .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server, and/or equivalent military experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure.
  • 3 years of experience architecting in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud professional certifications, preferably Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Experience collaborating with end-user or developer communities.
