Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and driven Plumbing Superintendent to oversee field operations, project execution, and team leadership for plumbing installations in residential and light commercial construction. This role requires hands-on field supervision, coordination with project managers, and quality assurance from rough-in to final inspection.The ideal candidate is a licensed master or journeyman plumber with proven leadership skills and deep knowledge of code-compliant installations, material management, and crew productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesField Supervision & Crew LeadershipLead and supervise plumbing crews across multiple job sitesAssign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to installation timelinesProject CoordinationCoordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other tradesInterpret blueprints, specs, and scope documents to guide field executionEnsure all plumbing systems are installed per plans, code, and company standardsQuality Control & InspectionsConduct regular job site walkthroughs to verify work quality and code compliancePrepare sites for municipal and third-party inspectionsResolve field issues proactively and enforce company QA/QC proceduresMaterial & Schedule ManagementPlan and coordinate delivery of materials, tools, and equipmentMonitor and report project progress to ensure deadlines and budgets are metMinimize waste and manage inventory efficientlyDocumentation & ReportingMaintain accurate records of job site activity, inspections, and safety logsCommunicate updates, delays, or change orders to project management

Specific QualificationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredLicensed Journeyman or Master Plumber in Texas.Minimum 5–7 years of field plumbing experience, including supervisory rolesIn-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and best practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and spec sheetsProficient in coordinating labor, managing schedules, and inspecting installationsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsValid driver’s license with clean driving recordOSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor in varying conditionsWork outdoors in heat, cold, and weather-exposed environmentsStand, walk, climb ladders, and access tight spaces for extended periodsTravel between multiple job sites as neededLicense RequiredYes
