Job Category: Content and NewsJob Description:Radio Programming and Production Coordinator98 Rock (WIYY-FM) in Baltimore, MD, is looking for a Programming and Production Coordinator. This position manages the daily music and program logs, oversees production of non-network Ravens programming as well as the imaging and commercial production of the station along with other duties assigned by the 98 Rock Program Director. The salary range is $60,000-$65,000. You will report to the 98 Rock Program Director.Responsibilities
  • Schedule and track days off for producers and part-time air talent
  • Schedule Music
  • Adjust logs based on daily spot load
  • Oversee imaging and commercial production
  • Write and produce promos and imaging
  • Contribute to weekly music meetings
  • Communicate and coordinate with traffic department
  • Interface with music labels, manager, and promotors
  • Contribute to promotions meetings
  • Schedule and adjust production (image pieces, show promos, etc.)
  • Update/edit liners as needed
  • Coordinate sales initiatives with Traffic to insure proper implementation
  • Edit streaming schedule to reflect programming schedules
  • Prepare content for prerecorded Countdown to Gameday
  • Schedule guests for Ravens Gameday
  • Coordinate pre-game hits with booth broadcasters and AM/FM pre-game shows
  • Coordinate with engineering to maintain and improve studio functionality
  • On-call for studio emergencies (off-air alarms, log issues, staffing, etc.)
Requirements
  • Production and/or programming experience
  • A deep knowledge of the rock format
  • Experience writing commercial and promo copy
  • Ability to turnaround high quality audio production within strict deadlines
  • In-person attendance is required
  • Experience with Music Master, G-Selector, or comparable music scheduling software is preferred
  • History in producing and coaching talent is a plus
