- Full-Time Lift Operators work more than 32 hours per week. They are typically scheduled for at least five shifts, including at least one day shift, one night shift, and one shift on Friday or Saturday.
- Part-Time Lift Operators work fewer than 32 hours per week. They are typically scheduled for at least two shifts per week, with three preferred, and at least one shift on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday.

- Staying alert to hazards, following all operating and emergency procedures, and making safe decisions in every situation.

- Greeting every rider with a friendly, approachable presence, offering clear loading and unloading instructions, and helping guests feel confident and comfortable on the lift.
- Acting as a Brighton ambassador, answering questions about conditions, events, and terrain, and helping guests get the most from their day.

- Staying positive and composed in all weather and guest situations, making safety your top priority while delivering excellent service.
- Deliver Excellence in Execution by:
- Operating lifts according to all procedures, adjusting speeds when necessary for safety, and completing daily inspections and logs accurately.
- Responding quickly and effectively to unusual situations, from assisting a struggling guest to following emergency procedures.
- Effectively managing lines and loading chairs to full capacity.
- Think Long Term by:
- Keeping loading and unloading areas safe and well-prepared through regular snow removal, ramp raking, and hazard checks, ensuring reliable and efficient operations all season.
- Develop Great People by:
- Supporting your teammates, sharing knowledge, and communicating effectively with ski patrol, lift maintenance, and other departments to keep the mountain running smoothly.
- You’re 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Can lift 35 lbs and push/pull 50 lbs unassisted
- Are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions for long periods
- Can ski or snowboard safely at a beginner level
- Have strong communication skills and a focus on safety and guest service
- Can stay attentive and focused on surroundings for extended periods without distraction
- Are committed to following safety procedures and addressing hazards immediately
- Want to work with teammates from diverse backgrounds
- Are available to work holidays and a mix of day/night shifts
- Can work at heights
- Have a passion for the outdoors
- Can reliably get to and from the resort in various weather conditions
- Are experienced in outdoor, high-traffic, or safety-critical roles
- Have hospitality, recreation, or guest service experience
- Ski or snowboard safely at an intermediate level
