- Conduct safety inspections and audits.
- Prepare and deliver safety training.
- Investigate incidents and develop preventive measures.
- Research and analyze EHS trends and best practices.
- Maintain EHS records and track metrics.
- Participate in EHS meetings and decision-making.
- Coordinate emergency response plans.
- Support EHS initiatives and projects.
- Promote a safe and environmental culture.
- Review and update EHS policies.
- Additional tasks as required.
- Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in occupational health and safety, environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene or similar programs from an accredited college or university.
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or master's level student in good academic standing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organization and personal time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess effective problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Leadership experience in organizing or working with groups.
- Project work experience.
- Relevant internship or work experience.
- Able to articulate and summarize analytical data for leadership.
