Job Description:The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (C.O.T.A.) delivers services upon referral and under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist to maximize functional outcomes. The COTA actively participates in discharge planning, implements the treatment program and communicates the patient response. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including appropriate disciplines, the patient and their significant others. These services are delivered in compliance with Swedish Medical Center standards, national professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state of the art practice.Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable.   • Associate's Degree - Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Washington Occupational Therapy Assistant License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
