In this role, you'll take the lead in designing and implementing integrated control systems that redefine security and access control solutions. From the initial planning stages to the final installation, you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional solutions for diverse clients.What You'll Do
- Engineer and program integrated access control, surveillance, and HMI/PLC control systems.
- Develop HMI interfaces using Wonderware software.
- Design system and network architecture to ensure seamless operation.
- Create and draft hardware and panel schematics.
- Innovate by integrating disparate systems into cohesive solutions.
- Produce detailed specifications and documentation for internal and external use.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA software (Wonderware InTouch/ArchestrA preferred).
- Hands-on PLC programming (Omron, Modicon Momentum, or Allen Bradley 5000 preferred).
- Electrical controls system design; AutoCAD skills a plus.
- Strong networking and communication skills.
- Knowledge of video, intercom, and access control systems.
- Bonus: VB.NET or C# programming experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD or similar applications.
- 2+ years of hands-on PLC and/or HMI programming experience.
- Ability to pass government background checks.
- Willingness to travel during the weekdays. Overnight travel is minimal.
