Become a maker of possible with us.About the role:We are seeking a Vascular Access Territory Manager (Sales) to represent BD's Vascular Access Product Portfolio. In this role will have exposure to BD’s entire Vascular Access products with a primary focus on PIVC (peripherally inserted venous catheter), PIVC with guidewire, midlines, PICC’s (peripherally inserted central catheters), and enabling technologies. The primary call points include IV Therapy, ER, Nursing, Infection Prevention, Materials Management, Value Analysis, in addition to other Nursing departments.Key responsibilities will include:Sells the entire product line to current and new accountsInforms customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policiesEffects comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individualsPlans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectivelyDevelops thorough knowledge of all productsInforms District Manager of significant market changes and competitive activityResolves customer complaints in accordance and analyzes customer needs and creates solutionsUses Clinical Specialist to effectively in-service/ train appropriate customersComplete all administrative duties associated with position in a timely fashionAttain sales goals established by the companyDeveloping business commensurate with the buying potential of the territoryCultivating new and existing customers to establish long-term mutually beneficialWork a flexible work schedule and travel to meet the needs of customersWork closely with National Account Managers and Corporate RVPs regarding accounts within assigned geographySell all new products launched by the DivisionEducation and experience required:Bachelor’s DegreeAt least 2 years experience in outside salesBasic knowledge of anatomy, medical and surgical terminologyDemonstrated history of success in an outside sales roleDemonstrated human relation and communication skillsStrong persuasion and influencing skillsProven ability to effectively build and sustain professional relationships externally and internallyUnderstands contract administrationEducation and experience preferred:
