Location: Kent & Sussex Hospitals - this role will spend time working across our health system locationsStatus: Full Time 80 HoursShift: DaysSALARY RANGE: 61,900.80 - 95,929.60YEARLYGeneral Summary:The Multimedia Production Coordinator plays a vital role in leading strategy for and creating and managing various forms of content to effectively communicate with team members, patients and the broader community. Responsibilities cover a wide range of media formats including video, audio, graphics and photography. Must coordinate with healthcare professionals, ensuring that content adheres to medical accuracy, compliance regulations and maintaining the healthcare system's branding.The Multimedia Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting Bayhealth’s Marketing, Communications & Community Outreach Department by independently creating a wide range of high-quality visual and audio content. The coordinator produces photos and videos for internal communications, external communications and public relations, patient education, marketing campaigns and training materials. The Multimedia Production Coordinator will help manage events, such as internal townhall meetings, health webinars and surgeries, and collaborate with other members of the Marketing & Communications team to produce podcasts and social media content.Responsibilities:1. Closely collaborates with team members and stakeholders to develop and drive the organization’s video and photography strategy. Actively listens to input, shares a clear creative vision, and works respectfully and effectively with others to ensure multimedia content supports overall goals and enhances brand storytelling.
2. Creates and edits a wide range of internal and external video content—including promotional, event, training, and patient story videos—to showcase services, facilities, technologies, and team expertise in alignment with organizational goals. Independently develops storyboards to guide multimedia projects, regularly communicates progress with stakeholders, and ensures each project meets objectives, timelines, and ADA accessibility compliance standards. Records and edits voiceovers and audio interviews with healthcare experts to enhance multimedia content across digital platforms.
3. Develops multimedia patient stories and interactive modules, including virtual facility tours, for website engagement and service promotion.
4. Develops and maintains a library of branded video assets tailored for diverse platforms—including social media, website, digital signage, and email campaigns—ensuring each video is optimized for format, audience, and platform-specific performance. Upholds brand consistency in tone, style, and visual identity across all video content, while collaborating with stakeholders to align messaging with broader marketing and communication strategies. Tracks performance metrics and audience engagement to inform future video production and content planning.
5. Creates animations to simplify messaging such as medical procedures, Bayhealth processes, patient care and safety, services offered and more. Design engaging animated visuals for social media campaigns working in collaboration with other members of the Marketing & Communications team.
6. Collaborates in the coordination and management of internal and external seminars, multimedia presentations, leader updates, townhall meetings, etc. Ensures engaging online audience experiences through technologies like live chat, voting/polling, etc. for events.
7. Plans, coordinates and captures high-quality photography for a wide range of internal and external needs, including community events, employee celebrations, patient testimonials and professional portraits of physicians, leaders and team members. Produces and curates visual content showcasing facilities, healthcare professionals, and medical equipment for use in marketing materials, brochures, websites, social media, and newsletters. Maintains organized portfolios of approved brand imagery and professional portraits to ensure consistent, brand-aligned visual assets are readily available for organizational use.
8. Collaborates with team members to produce high-quality podcasts, ensuring all video and audio equipment is properly set up and functioning for each recording session. Assists with editing podcast episodes to deliver polished, engaging content that aligns with the organization’s standards and messaging.
9. Creates optimized video, audio, photo and graphic content tailored for social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with platform best practices and audience engagement strategies. Works closely as a trusted partner and collaborator with the social media content lead to develop creative assets that support campaign goals, maintain brand consistency and drive measurable results across various digital channels.
10. Maintain and manage a comprehensive inventory of all video, photography, podcast, and related multimedia equipment, ensuring it is regularly inspected, properly stored, and ready for use. Utilize the latest industry-standard tools, technology, and software applications to produce high-quality multimedia content, staying current with emerging trends to continuously enhance production and delivery.
11. Ensure approval processes are followed within the work order system to maintain project workflow and compliance.
12. All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilitiesRequired Education, Credential(s) and Experience:
  • Education: Associate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Creative arts, English, or a related field
  • Credential(s): None required
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of work experience with photography, videography, social media and creative marketing and communications
Preferred Education, Credential(s) and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Credential(s): Helpful but not required.
  • Experience: 6 or more years of work experience with photography, videography, social media and creative marketing and communications
