The Commodities Operations Coordinator/Trade Assistant will be responsible for procuring, scheduling, tracking and processing freight associated with various grain and bulk products that Harvestone Low Carbon Partners’ trades. This includes maintaining accurate records of receipts, shipments, and costs.This position is designed to develop a valued technical expert who can deliver quality work on a consistent basis. Occasional overnight travel to facility locations.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree and two years of experience in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience coordinating truck freight movement.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, ag economics, or related field
  • Basic understanding of grain trading
  • Knowledge and/or experience coordinating product shipments by truck.
  • Experience in effective communication both verbally and in written form to customers and employees.
  • Experience with grain trading and/or freight management software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
