- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise systems.
- Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) with Java and Spring, routinely applying object-oriented analysis and design to build backend business logic and database-driven applications.
- Proven ability to leverage object-oriented techniques to analyze and solve complex business problems in a professional setting.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and relatable manner, tailored to audiences of varying technical backgrounds.
- 5+ years of experience working with relational databases, including proficiency with PostgreSQL, SQL, and object-relational mapping (ORM) frameworks in enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated experience developing applications using Java frameworks, especially Spring Core, and familiarity with Spring Data Access and Integration modules.
- Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies and a track record of contributing effectively in Agile teams.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring, embracing modern DevOps practices to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery.
- Familiarity with developing applications using object-relational mapping frameworks such as Hibernate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers.
- A passion for continuous learning, staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, logistics, compliance, or risk-management solutions.
- Skills in REST/SOAP services, Kafka, and enterprise Linux environments.
