Job would be to assist our Mechanics on daily tasks.Job SummaryWe are looking for a Mechanic Assistant to join our busy repair shop. As an Auto Mechanic assistant, you will assist our main mechanics to help diagnose and repair issues with vehicles’ performance and function.As an assistant, you must understanding of all vehicle systems and components. You will also be responsible for maintaining repair shop equipment, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining a welcoming environment.The ideal candidate is skilled in communicating with customers, able to explain vehicle issues clearly and concisely and provide valuable advice.Knowledge on:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop
  • Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
  • Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
  • Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork
  • Diagnose mechanical failures of engine transmission, etc
  • Diagnose electrical faults
  • Repair engine failures or replace internal engine components such as timing chain valves
