External candidates who have not worked within the UVMHN in the past year are eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of $2,000 gross. The bonus will be paid out $500 after 90 days, $1500 after one year.This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities.EDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certificationEXPERIENCE:MA II level requires one year experience providing or assisting in direct patient care required.MA I - healthcare experience preferred.This is a bargaining union position.
