Summary
National Power has an immediate need for a dependable, detail-oriented Electrician to join our team in the Orange County, San Bernardino area and other territories as necessary. Under the general direction of and reporting to the Electrical Field Manager, the Electrician will primarily be responsible for performing lead electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment for National Power customers. The successful candidate will have the ability to independently assess the needs of a job based on schematics or blueprints but may also carry out assignments based on written and oral instructions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Install, repair, and service electrical systems.Source or fabricate replacement electrical components.Interpret blueprints and carry out work accordingly, with knowledge of the NEC.Guide and oversee other electricians as necessary.Obtain required equipment, tools, and materials for projects.Test and troubleshoot electrical systems.Provide assistance during emergencies.Update project records and prepare relevant documents and reports.Education/Experience/Skills:
High School Diploma / GED; Associate degree in an Electrical or related field preferred.Minimum of 6 years in commercial electrical work (experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus).Journeyman Electrician License is preferred.Compensation and Benefits
Competitive pay depending on previous experience and current certifications. Overtime is also a factor and is paid at 1.5 X base. We are a performance based company and pay will ultimately reflect the employee’s productivity and overall performance.Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour

Relevant experience in critical infrastructure sectors
Technical knowledge and certifications
