The position will be responsible for creating and maintaining supplier relationships. The position will further ensure that production planning will take place with the goods ordered based on scheduling and forecast.Main accountabilities and tasks * Manages the direct and indirect order fulfillment process including purchase order entry, purchase order administration, and expediting incoming product
  • Executes the purchase order tracking process and ensures purchase orders are processed in accordance with the organization's customer satisfaction and performance standards
  • Manages the new vendor setup process
  • Ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost
  • Prepare, review and analyze the regular reports to monitor procurement KPIs, inventory level, improve service level, inventory turns and make adjustments as needed. Oversees and supports the global forecast planning process. In addition, support local sales with the forecast planning and adjust sourcing requirements as needed
  • Maintains close communication with medmix Corporate Procurement to ensure implementation of global strategies and policies.
  • Manages the customer packaging and subcontractor process
  • Work closely and effectively communicates with customer service, order entry and the sales team
  • Tracks changes in business needs and adjust order quantities to support business increases or decreases
  • Facilitates process improvement, streamlining of costs, to increase the quality of procurement, logistics, and materials management
  • Enters expected receipts based on order confirmations received from vendors
  • Reviews weekly open purchase order report and updates and addresses discrepancies
  • Manages production planning (rough and detailed planning) of defined injection molding machines and automatic assembly orders.
  • Implement sales planning from sales items to production items (semi-finished goods and finished goods).
  • Coordinating with order management group to schedule and confirm specific customer orders from internal and external customers.
  • Scheduling orders from sales planning and customer orders into production orders according to entrepreneurial and economic aspects
  • Planning of short- to medium-term requirements for external services and reservation of the necessary capacities.
  • Ensuring the supply of semi-finished goods to the final assembly
  • Management of third-party service partners (extended workbenches, contract manufacturers).
  • Definition and maintenance of the scheduling parameters required for production control.
  • Deadline tracking of orders and initiation of corrective actions in case of deviations.
QualificationsWork experience: 5+ years purchasing/planning experience in a manufacturing environmentEducation: Bachelor's DegreeOther: * Excellent and demonstrated organizational skills
  • Outgoing self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Team player with focus on building organizational relationships to achieve corporate goals
  • SAP, ERP experience preferred but not required
  • Efficient in MS Office Products
