• Job Title: Surgical Technologist – Travel Hospital Assignment

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract, 13 weeks
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital, JCAHO-accredited
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Shift: 10-hour days (6:30am – 5:00pm), 4 days/week, rotational on-call (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,900 - $2,300

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital or clinical healthcare setting
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician training program (AST) or equivalent on-the-job training/military specialty
• Certification required within 6 months after 3-year qualification: NBSTSA (CST), NCCT (TS-C), or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to work rotational shifts and participate in on-call coverage
• COVID-19 & Flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with proper documentation

• Prepare and set up operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all surgical equipment and instrumentation are available and functional
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping for surgery
• Support a variety of surgical specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Podiatry, and Urology (adult and pediatric patients)
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and uphold patient safety standards throughout all surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
• Participate in rotational on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
