We offer paid training and flexible shifts - making this a great role for students, parents or anyone who wants to pick up some extra hours without working late nights.Compensation and Benefits:● Paid Training● Year-round employment with flexible hours● Employee Discount● A fun place to work● Valuable work experience● Increased social opportunities● An opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.● Compensation: $17-$25 per hourDuties and Responsibilities:● Provide swim instruction.● Build effective, authentic relationships with students and parents.● Enforce safety rules and regulations.● Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.● Interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of
students’ swim skills.● Use problem solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve
challenges that students encounter.● Inspect pool areas before and after each class for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage issues. Reports issues to management as appropriate.● Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment. Places and
removes lane lines.● Perform light cleaning duties such as window washing, pool
vacuuming, etc…● Attend mandatory meetings/training outside of regular working hours.● Weekday and weekend availability.Qualifications:● Excellent communication and organizational skills● Enthusiastic Personality● 16 years or older● No prior teaching experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and have fun is a must!Certificates and Licenses: American Red Cross- Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required within 90 days of hire.Work Environment: Swim instructors spend the majority of their working time in the pool with students.
