Job Location CincinnatiJob DescriptionConsumer Experience Designer - UIP&G’s BeautyHouse, is the in-house, multidisciplinary design studio for beauty brands around the world. We are comprised of a diverse array of skills, backgrounds, and viewpoints. We sit elbow to elbow with Marketing, R&D, Finance, and Package Development to generate a broad spectrum of insights. P&G BeautyHouse is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our Beauty Care team.As a BeautyHouse UX/UI Designer within P&G, your primary responsibility will be to assist in creating visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centric interfaces across various digital platforms, ensuring an exceptional brand user experience. You will also be responsible for delivering key insights for our DTC/EComm presences considering basic EComm UX best practices. Your insights will then need to be translated into beauty forward visual solutions based on the existing brand equity for the beauty brand you are assigned. This will require an intense dedication to learning mixed with an understanding of the beauty industry and brand building principles. You will partner across a vast multi-functional team as well as other designers within all beauty brands to bring a holistic experience to market for users.What You’ll Do:As you partner on UX/UI Design with the team, we will expect you to turn insights into high-fidelity designs. You will work closely with our studio designers and leads, helping to visualize insights and then partnering to create visual frameworks for digital excellence. You will also partner in UI benchmarking across our competitive set and create mood boards to inspire the multifunctional team. It will then be important for you translate those low-fidelity designs into hero screen mockups, utilizing your skills of communication design and best in class UI principles. For these deliverables you will need to utilize the style guides of our brands and demonstrate how that can scale across digital touchpoints. After we create initial UI concepts, it will then be up to you contribute to the creation of screens for the entire user flow, turning those into full prototypes that we can use for research. For this you will need to keep in mind principles in responsive design across multiple screen sizes, as well as technical feasibility. Finally, it will be up to you to assist in creating design specifications for development handoff to make prototypes become a reality.It will be as important to perform these tasks as it is to document, as we strive to grow the digital acumen across the company.   • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, or related field; or, relevant certification or equivalent work experience.
  • Software Fluency in the latest digital programs and tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, etc.
  • Skills in UI to create robust projects foundations or the ability to step in with expertise to help multi-disciplinary teams with guidance or direction.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong Design Mastery in the core areas of UI Design. Your portfolio will be assessed on creative excellence, storytelling, problem-solving and technical mastery.
  • A case study that demonstrates the design process is essential.
  • Strong design mastery and ability to solve problems using design skills as shown in a competitive portfolio.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to justify your conceptional and directional design choices. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
  • Experience mentoring other user experience professionals.
  • 0-5 years of design experience.

Starting Pay / Salary Range: $85,000 to $115,000Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
