DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Apple Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Endpoint Engineering team. This role will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all Apple platforms, including macOS, iOS, iPadOS, visionOS, tvOS, and watchOS, across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical proficiency in macOS administration, MDM configuration, Apple device lifecycle management, and integration with enterprise systems, ideally in a healthcare setting.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining server systems and infrastructure for both enterprise and cloud environments. Ensure server systems are secure, stable, and highly available.
  • Highly proficient with enterprise server management tools and possesses intermediate scripting and automation skills. Skilled in troubleshooting both Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Participate in the planning, deployment, and ongoing support for enterprise server infrastructure to ensure optimum performance and scalability.
  • Possess an expert knowledge of enterprise backup solutions, performance monitoring tools, and cloud-native services.
  • This role requires a blend of technical skills, collaboration, and an understanding of both hardware and software systems.
  • Includes after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations to support critical tier1 systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams for capacity planning, focusing on future scalability and resource optimization across all environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • This role requires not only hands-on expertise in Apple systems but also the ability to configure, troubleshoot, and script Apple workflows using tools such as Jamf, Intune, or other MDM platforms.
  • Experience editing configuration profiles and PLIST files, as well as contributing to minor development or integration work, is essential.
MINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline and five years Infrastructure server administration experience OR seven years of Infrastructure server engineering experience.
