The CNA will provide exceptional, resident-centered care, ensuring the health, safety, and dignity of all our residents.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Monitor residents' health, reporting any changes to the nursing staff promptly.
  • Help residents maintain mobility by supporting safe transfers and encouraging physical activity.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their mental well-being.
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Assist with meal service, including delivering trays and feeding residents when necessary.
  • Follow all facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Education Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Kansas.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or senior living facility is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Manual dexterity to perform essential care tasks.
  • Ability to respond quickly in emergencies.
  • Tolerance for extended periods of physical activity during a shift.
