- Submit intelligence products for publication.
- Disseminate intelligence and warning products via email to key stakeholders, including the Executive Support Office and general distribution lists.
- Review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, syntax, logic, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensure all materials conform to agency publication standards and specialized vocabulary.
- Amend draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure consistency and proper content alignment.
- Verify proper classification markings in accordance with Intelligence Community guidance.
- Collaborate with authors to revise products for narrative organization and negotiate further revisions as necessary.
- Edit technical materials such as intelligence reports, research findings, news releases, technical articles, regulations, and manuals.
- Apply expertise in writing and editing to accurately communicate complex technical and scientific information.
- Research, write, and edit materials while managing multiple high-visibility production efforts.
- Work closely with writers and visual information specialists to enhance readability, conciseness, and consistency of tone and style.
- Assist stakeholders in research and sourcing for communication products.
- Attend customer meetings, information sessions, and internal team syncs.
- Proofread and edit communications materials, including briefing documents, reports, and multimedia content.
- Ensure all materials adhere to AP Style, agency-specific style guides, and correspondence guidelines.
- Manage multiple assignments with tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Master's degree in English or Journalism; or Bachelor's degree with an additional 5 years of relevant senior experience (totaling 17 years).
- Minimum of 12 years in a related field, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint is required.
- Knowledge of AP Style and agency-specific style guides.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing error-free work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a government or military setting is desired.
