
Systems Support Specialist I

- Hourly range $19.00 to $21.00 depending on experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve systems support problems remotely (networks, interface, connectivity and applications related). Gather call information in order to identify root cause analysis of the problem.
- Work with customers to resolve technical issues.
- Advise customers on possible solutions as required. Escalate problems that are not resolved according to department escalation process.
- May be required to visit customer site occasionally.
- May provide support and training to customers in loading drivers, adding workstations, software applications and other instructional use information.
- Stay abreast of current technology, through reading and formal training, webinars and research.
- Complete required Company training as assigned.
- Prepare and submit all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1-year related experience in a combination of the following areas; IT support, networking systems, connectivity and related software, knowledgeable in hardware and software industry. Comfortable with installation and upgrades to network systems/equipment.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite Software, internet software, analyzing and interpreting technical procedures and troubleshooting customer issues.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Valid Driver’s License and must be able to travel to sites periodically.
