- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
- Lead Research & Innovation Initiatives: Drive assignments related to market studies, new technologies (especially AI), and process optimization, while staying alert to new opportunities and disruptions.
- Support Requirements & Technical Analysis: Assist in capturing and reviewing business and technical requirements, drafting specifications, and evaluating architecture and software design for compliance and performance.
- Lead Vendor Engagements: Conduct technology due diligence, attend demos, assess vendor services and platforms, and handle onboarding and contractual documentation like RFPs and SOWs.
- Implement Prototypes & Pilots: Collaborate across teams and with external vendors to develop and implement software pilots, proof of concepts (POCs), and proof of technologies (POTs).
- Promote Internal Knowledge Sharing: Participate in educational initiatives such as town halls, strategy sessions, blogs, and public showcases to cultivate awareness and alignment.
- Responsible for the execution of an individual project or multiple smaller projects
- Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors, identifying and appropriately elevating potential risks, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
- Clearly track, report, and communicate regular project status (including scope, schedule, and budget) to project collaborators, management, and established governance groups
- Proactively identify, understand, and address intra-project and inter-project dependencies
- Supervise all projects against approved budgets and report on actuals, forecasts, and variances; develop action to bring projects on or under budget unless a variance is approved
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in the technology industry, preferably related to application development, infrastructure / architecture and / or research
- Strong and effective communication skills required - written, verbal and presentation; ability to communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience
- Strong stakeholder management and partnering skills
- Delivery-focused, impact-focused leadership style
- Experience managing vendors to procure staffing, licenses, tools, and other consulting services
- Experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred
- Experience as a Product Owner/Manager, Business Analyst/Systems Analyst, Scrum Master, ideally, someone who has moved through the development lifecycle in experience across multiple trends in technology
