Client is seeking an interim Vice President of FP&A to immediately join their Irving, TX headquarters and provide hands-on leadership to the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team. This is a high-impact, short-term assignment designed to support the business through a critical board meeting and annual budgeting process while the company searches for a permanent hire.The ideal candidate will be a proven leader and doer, capable of guiding the team through key deliverables, partnering with senior stakeholders, and providing insightful financial narratives to executive leadership.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the Corporate FP&A team, including two direct-report Directors.Assist in the monthly financial close process from an FP&A perspective.Analyze actual financial results and synthesize insights into clear, executive-level reporting.Drive the annual budget process with a focus on the heavy lift period in August and early September.Prepare materials and narratives for a major board meeting (last week of August).Act as the primary point of contact for FP&A-related initiatives during the engagement.Collaborate closely with cross-functional senior leaders across the organization.Qualifications:Must-Have:Proven experience in a senior-level FP&A role (VP or Director level).Strong financial storytelling and executive reporting experience.Hands-on leadership style; able to both manage and contribute to deliverables.Advanced Excel skills; comfortable working in complex models.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Available to work on-site full-time in Irving, TX from August 4 through September 30.Nice-to-Have:Experience with SAP (ERP).Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP BI).Background in aviation, catering, hospitality, or logistics industries.Prior experience in interim or short-term leadership roles.
