As the Estimator, you'll lead the meticulous evaluation of quotes, bids, and budgets for upcoming projects. This pivotal role requires an expert understanding of construction materials and methodologies.Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze project blueprints and specifications to grasp project scope and requirements.
  • Generate accurate cost estimates covering materials, labor, and subcontractor services.
  • Evaluate project bids and budgets for competitiveness and profitability.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to gather essential data for estimates.
  • Explore alternative materials and construction approaches to optimize project costs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project details and address inquiries.
  • Monitor project budgets, providing updates as needed throughout the estimation process.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project estimation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and methodologies.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and construction specifications.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines effortlessly.
