USC Keck School of Medicine seeks to recruit a talented and experienced fundraiser for the position of Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. The Director will develop and manage a portfolio of foundation and corporate prospects. This position reports to the Senior Executive Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations and is a member of a dedicated team of advancement professionals.USC is poised for significant growth in health sciences and related health endeavors through a targeted philanthropic campaign to support interdisciplinary collaboration across the university. This role is vital to the success of this campaign and is an exciting opportunity to be part of extraordinary healthcare research and patient care innovations.Specifically, the Director will:· Manage a portfolio of foundation and corporate prospects. This includes identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects and donors.· Work with researchers and colleagues to draft, compile, and submit proposals for funding from foundations and corporations.· Develop and execute strategies that increase funding from existing donors and engage new donors.· Create and maintain relationships with external funders.· Partner with fundraising colleagues to better understand and meet the fundraising needs of Keck departments and programs.· Represent the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations at various cultivation and fundraising events, working in tandem with University Advancement.· Ensure USC Advancement protocols are followed in all aspects of the donor process, including gift processing and acknowledgment, prospecting, soliciting, and stewarding.· In conjunction with the donor relations team, create written reports for foundations and updates for faculty, craft acknowledgment letters, and respond to requests from faculty, donors, and advancement colleagues.· Track progress and results in Salesforce, the USC Advancement database, following USC’s prospect management guidelines.· Other duties as assigned.This is a high-profile role that requires a professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity working with faculty, top executives, and community leaders desired. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a history of success in their prior position.Required Education: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.Minimum Experience: A minimum of 5 years of corporate and foundation fundraising.Follows established USC and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines, including adherence to the workplace Code of Conduct and Compliance Plan.
