- Understands and performs quality sanitation practices to ensure Waste/By-Product bins are debris free and properly sanitized according to the By-Product SOP. Utilizes forklift to stage bins in designated areas. • Maintains accurate records of all wells, spray-field activities related to wastewater spraying and application of solid and water waste generated by the facilities. Documentation must be audit ready for internal auditing and available for WIDNR audits or permit processing. • Adheres to safe driving standards relative to: forklift, company vehicles, and/or tractor equipment. • Acquires knowledge and operation procedures pertaining to the various elements of the plants sanitation system and aerated lagoons/sprayfields. • Performs wastewater testing, sampling and spray application according to WPDES permit guidelines. • Monitors and samples Monitor wells and spreadable waste according to permit guidelines. • Supports the Operation department during non-standard wastewater activities. • Support the plant’s wastewater spray applications, sanitation of waste and By-Product bins, and understanding of the Wastewater program relative to State, Federal, and local laws, regulations and policies. • During non-wastewater responsibilities (during shift or off-season waste-water applications) will transition to operations support.
