At Derby City Gaming Downtown, gaming enthusiasts can enjoy nearly 500 of the most popular games, Fascinator Wine Bar and Trophy Bourbon & Cigars Bar, sports bar with live entertainment most weekends and a Kentucky Derby Gift Shop.”JOB SUMMARYThe Main Banker is responsible and accountable for the complete operation of the Main Bank.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for accurate balancing and oversight of gaming facility funds.
  • Follow all policies and procedures as it relates to cash handling and the Main Bank.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate operational bankrolls.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate redemption kiosk cassette inventory.
  • Responsible for collecting and replacing sports wagering kiosk cassettes.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of sports wagering kiosk cassettes.
  • Ensure safety and security of Team Members and guests.
  • Review vault activities with Cash Operations and Player Services leadership team.
  • Fill-in as a Cage Cashier as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among all internal and external guests.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the Main Bank.
  • Black shoes required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • One to two years of cashiering or banking experience preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
