Pharmacist | Summary and Highlights:The Pharmacist role is ideal for someone with strong clinical knowledge and excellent patient-care skills, offering the chance to contribute to a professional long-term care pharmacy setting.
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Pharmacist | Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
Monitor patient medication usage and identify potential issues
Maintain accurate and confidential patient and pharmacy records
Provide patient counseling on proper medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage
Educate patients on medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions according to proper procedures
Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks
Manage medication and supply inventory, ensuring proper rotation and documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to address drug-related concerns and optimize patient care
Pharmacist | Requirements:
Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license required
Previous long-term care or retail experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively within a team and supervise pharmacy staff
