  • Location: Milwaukee WI 53224 – 100% On-site
  • Payrate: $66/hr
  • Required Availability: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday | Potential Saturday coverage
Pharmacist | Summary and Highlights:The Pharmacist role is ideal for someone with strong clinical knowledge and excellent patient-care skills, offering the chance to contribute to a professional long-term care pharmacy setting.
  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacist | Responsibilities:
  • Dispense prescription medications and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
  • Monitor patient medication usage and identify potential issues
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient and pharmacy records
  • Provide patient counseling on proper medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage
  • Educate patients on medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
  • Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions according to proper procedures
  • Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks
  • Manage medication and supply inventory, ensuring proper rotation and documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to address drug-related concerns and optimize patient care
Pharmacist | Requirements:
  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license required
  • Previous long-term care or retail experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and supervise pharmacy staff
