The mine development team is a project-based team tasked with creating essential infrastructure, including access declines, ventilation systems, and ground support, to ensure safe and efficient limestone extraction.Job Details:Mine Development Team - Rogers Group Inc - Shepherdsville, KYFull-TimeNight Shift - approximate shift times of 08:00 p.m. - 06:00 a.m.Starting pay for this position is $27/hr. This includes a $23.00/hr. base pay + $4.00/hr. for shift differential. Candidates with mining experience - specifically continuous miner or road header operating experience are preferred. Additional pay may be available based on the candidate's experience level and skill set.Job Duties:
  • Primarily operate a road header or continuous miner in an underground environment on our mine development crew.
  • Openness to operating a variety of heavy equipment and machinery in a rock quarry including dozer, excavator, front end loader, roof bolter, drill, and general work around the operation
  • Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
  • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
  • Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency
  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications:
  • Individual must be dedicated to operating safely at all times
  • Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry
  • Must be able to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment
  • Ability to compete pre-operation inspection paperwork
  • Experience operating heavy equipment required
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekend when necessary
  • Team player attitude
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
